⭐️ Mr. Tang, Kwok Leung Douglas
Mr. Tang was admitted to practice in Hong Kong in 1997 and he is the founding partner of the firm.
Mr. Tang is a general practitioner with particular emphasis on the following legal areas: -
- Wills, Probate, and Succession (with experience in handling overseas cases in various jurisdictions including but not limited to China, USA, the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Mauritius, Madagascar, and Taiwan);
- Matrimonial-related litigations involving children’s custody and assets distributions;
- Civil litigations including the High Court actions, including but not limited to tort claims, contractual disputes, applications under Mental Health Ordinance, and Adult Guardianship applications;
- Enduring Powers of Attorney and Reverse Mortgage with both the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited and other banking institutions;
- Personal injuries with an emphasis on medical negligence;
- Employees’ compensations;
- Contractual disputes including intellectual property matters; and
- Various conveyancing matters, including matters relating to small village houses in the New Territories.
In 2010, Mr. Tang satisfied all the relevant requirements and was qualified as an Accredited Mediator of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution of London, the United Kingdom, (“CEDR”) and in 2014 Mr. Tang became a panel mediator of Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL). In addition, Mr. Tang has been a counsellor of the Reverse Mortgage Program of the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited (HKMC) since 18th June 2011.
On 26 April 2013, Mr. Tang was appointed as a Civil Celebrant of Marriages by the Government of Hong Kong SAR.
Since his admission in 1997, Mr. Tang has been offering pro-bono services to different non-governmental organizations - initially to the Hong Kong Federation of Women Centre, then to the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society (“HKFWS”) since 2014. Mr. Tang offered his pro-bona services at all levels of the HKFWS programs, including, individual legal advice sessions, manning its divorce hotlines, and conducting seminars to the general public on family-related matters, including divorce, children, and domestic violence matters.
Mr. Tang was also a member of the Working Group on the Mental Health Programme under Community Relations Committee of the Law Society.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Tang is also a registered pharmacist (non-practicing) in Hong Kong and had also been registered in the jurisdictions of the USA, the United Kingdom, and Canada (non-practicing). In this connection, he had advised different pharmaceutical companies and other para-medical associations.
Mr. Tang is currently the Honorary Legal Advisor of : -

- The Hong Kong General Chamber of Pharmacy Ltd. (港九藥房總商會)

In addition, he is also a panel member solicitor /mediator of:
- The Legal Aid Department;
- Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL);
- Counsellor of the Reverse Mortgage Program of the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited;
- CEDR Accredited Mediator (UK);
- The Drug Education Resources Centre; and
- Member (Volunteer Lawyer) of the Duty Lawyer Service (DLS) Free Legal Advice Scheme.
⭐️ Mr. LAM, Ho Kong Anthony
Mr. Lam was admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1995.
Mr. Lam is a general practitioner and his areas of practice include the followings – civil litigation, company and commercial law, conveyancing matters, criminal matters, employment matters, matrimonial matters, guardianship, intellectual property, landlord and tenant disputes, personal injuries, and wills and probate.
Mr. Lam has been participating in the Duty Lawyer Scheme since 1999.
In addition, Mr. Lam is also a Civil Celebrant of Marriages.
⭐️ Ms. CHENG, Wai Yee Phyllis
Ms. Cheng was admitted to practice both in Hong Kong as a solicitor and an Attorney in the state of New York in the United States of America in 2003.
Ms. Cheng read law in Hong Kong and in addition, received her Master of Laws in International & Comparative Law in the United States of America in 2000.
Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Cheng was involved in advising both Chinese and international clients in a broad range of cross-border trade, commercial, investments, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters and also in family assets disputes.
Apart from the aforesaid, Ms. Cheng also takes up general practices in various areas, including but not limited to general criminal and civil matters.
⭐️ Ms. KO, Wai Ping Peggy
Ms. Ko, with her legal (LLB, United Kingdom) and business administration academic qualifications, she has worked for this firm and assisted Mr. Douglas Tang, senior and managing partner, to manage this firm since 2004.
In addition, since 2013, Ms. Ko has been on the panel of Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited as an accredited Family Mediator and in July 2016 as an accredited Parenting Coordinator.
Ms. Ko regularly participates in mediation cases in both legal aid and private matrimonial cases including cases assigned by Integrated Mediation Office of the District Court and Hong Kong Family Welfare Society.
In addition to the office management and mediator’s role, Ms. Ko is also a legal executive, an authorised clerk registered in the Law Society of Hong Kong with experience working alongside with barristers in civil litigation matters at all level of Courts including matrimonial proceedings and occasionally in criminal proceedings.
